Vašurová, Barbora ; Musálek, Martin (advisor) ; Kinkorová, Ivana (referee)
Theme: Morphofunctional characteristics and physical aktivity profile in Czech elite traceurs Aims: The aim of the work is to describe anthropometric and somatic characteristics and movement profile in elite Czech parkourists. Methods: The research group consisted of 20 men of the elite category of traceurs, (actively competing, n = 5, competing in community competitions, n = 8 and noncompetitors, n = 7). To obtain the necessary parameters, the following will be used: 1. parameters of body typology according to the somatotype methodology (Heath and Carter, 1967). 2. Parameters of body composition and bone health obtained from Dualenergy X-ray absorptiometers (DXA) according to Hologic methodology 3. Parameters of physical activity profile obtained from Actigraf GTX9 according to Actilife methodology. Results: The average somatotype of the evaluated traceurs was 1.8±0,7 - 4.9±0,9 - 3.0±0,7, which means classification into the category of ectomorphic mesomorphs and group B, characteristic of versatile gifted individuals. The traceurs' somatotypes were different with regard to their categorization. The highest values of the mesomorphic component were measured for the group of active competitors and the highest values of the ectomorphic component in the group of non-competitors. Parkourists had an...

Chum, Jaroslav ; Kašparová, Alena (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
Title: Parkour and its influence on the personality of the traceur Objectives: Find out in what way and in which aspects parkour influences the personality of its users. Methods: In this thesis, a mixed research method was used, namely the case study method, which is able to affect the object under study in its depth. The main research material chosen was a non-standardized structured interview consisting of 40 questions asking about general characteristics, experiences, opinions, attitudes, experienced feelings and manners along with aspects affecting the personality of the individuals. A standardized EOD-A questionnaire examining personality characteristics was chosen as supplementary material to enhance the research. The research sample consists of 6 respondents, each of whom is involved in a slightly different industry. Results: All respondents were successfully tested on how and in which aspects parkour influences their personality. The main cause that confirms that parkour is able to modify and shape the personality of individuals was tested by the length of time the interviewed individuals have been practicing parkour. During this time, they develop a very close relationship with parkour, which, by providing its users with a lot of intense feelings that are always eventually reflected as...

The questionnaire will be sent out across the parkour community and to people with knowledge of parkour. The research will then be supplemented with a qualitative foresight method of brainstorming in which a group of experts will discuss the issue under investigation. Results: The result of the thesis is a final forecast that predicts the future development of the popularity of parkour. Experts see a large increase in competitive parkour, which will be more medialized and in the public eye. Parkour training will then be divided into performance and recreational, more parkour facilities will be created, social media content will be more educational and parkour will be seen more as a full-fledged sport. Its popularity will therefore depend on the greater frequency and attractiveness of parkour competitions. Keywords: parkour,...
Parkour as a new gymnastic sport
Vašurová, Barbora ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kolbová, Kateřina (referee)
Theme: Parkour as new gymnastic sport Aims: The aim of this work is to introduce parkour as a new gymnastic sport and, based on the somatotypes measurements, define optimal profile of an athlet for this kind of sport with expressing differences in somatotypes with respect to individual parkour disciplines. Methods: To identify optimal parkour somatotype, there was made the measurement which includes survey of body weight using personal scale, height using altimeter, a biceps circumference in the contraction and calf circumference using measuring tape, a biepycondillary dimension of the humerus and femur using thoracometer and the thickness of skinfolds on the triceps, under the shoulder blade, over the hip, and calf using caliper pliers. The measured values of individual parameters were processed using Excel. Results: The group of probands participating in the research was composed of 50 men and 10 women who are doing this new gymnastic sport. Statistical processing of somatic characteristics of individual probands and its conversion into graphic format resulted in graphs of optimal somatotypes for this new sport separately for men and women. Due to the low number of probands who are doing parkour at a higher level, 10 men were selected for each discipline and 3 women (Czech national team), which...
